"Hi everybody! I'm not quite sure if I have to tell my personal experience in this forum...considering the majority of skeptics on UFOs. But I feel that there is a need to discuss this subject, because knowledge of what really happens in our universe could be essential in determining where we should be heading. First of all, I would like to introduce myself. I am a lawyer in the Philippines. I currently holds a public office as the City Legal Officer of ______________, you can check this out in our website. I am the head of the City's Legal Department and had been a practicing lawyer for more than 11 years now. I had been a lawyer for many nongovernmental organizations. I am an experienced trial lawyer. As such, I know what "facts" means and what "evidence" can play as a way to convince people of the existence of a fact.When I was 16 years old (around March of 1987), about to graduate from high school, i was walking my dog around 8:00 PM. It was a bright night because it was almost full moon, with clear skies with some relatively fast moving cumulo-cirrus clouds (it was a bit windy). Our house was just 15 meters away from the seashore in ___________. I was used to stargazing, so I was looking intently at the stars as i walk my dog. I noticed some movement near the moon, i thought it was the cloud, but when i looked more intently, i noticed that it wasnt the cloud but a "star" moving very slowly. I first thought that it must be a night plane, but then the light wasnt blinking like most planes, so it suddenly occurred to me, "could this be something else"? Immediately upon blurting that out in my mind, the moving light suddenly moved so fast in at least three circular paths, counter-clockwise. Since I studied in a special science and math class since my elementary, I knew what the speed of light is, and i knew that that object was travelling at close to the speed of light (around 186,000 miles per sec). I was shocked, because even at my age then, i knew there's no human aircraft that can travel at close to the speed of light. And after going in circles, it streaked the entire length of the sky in a semi-circle path.Two years after, I was again in the same place (we havent left yet our residence near the seashore). I was simply strolling and letting time pass by. It was past 8:00 PM, again, with the moon (more than half moon). The sky was again clear, with visible stars and clouds. As i continue to watch out for falling stars, as it has been my habit, I saw some movement of one "star" in the location of my first sighting two years before. I got so excited that it suddenly occurred to me this wasnt coincidence. This time, upon my noticing of its movement, the bright object with yellow star-like light moved in circular paths, this time clockwise, with the same speed as before, and crossed the sky with blinding speed.Four years later, i was already in my second year of law school in ___________, I returned home for a semestral vacation. We left already our old house near the sea and transferred to another rented house about a hundred meters away from our first hourse. Around 9 PM, i decided to walk at the boulevard near the shore. I feel some kind of anticipation that my experiences before would be repeated, and i was constantly excited of the thought that, "is it an alien spacecraft"? So every semestral break, I would go to the same spot hoping for another sighting. For a time, I got frustrated. But on that particular sem break of 1993 (around late October), it happened again. I saw that bright object moving, no longer in the same spot but still near, and as in noticed it, it again sped off in circles counterclockwise like the first time, with the same blinding speed. I thought, my God, can it read my mind, because everytime i see it and think if its a UFO, it kind of "reacts" to my thought and moves suddenly as if it was jolted by my thought. I told these experiences to my family, but they just looked at me, perplexed. But since they knew me to be very objective and reasonable since i was a kid, they never actually disbelieved me. The same was true with my my friends. I was a student leader at that time (president of various school organizations and had been the editor-in-chief of our college paper), so they saw no reason for me to tell something untrue. Since then, I would wait on the same spot whenever i had the opportunity, but i was never that lucky again. Until now, whenever i would visit my parents in _______________, I always try if i could still see it. i just keep telling my kid and my wife that someday, people, especially our political leaders, might be reasonable enough to take a serious look at these events as part of the circumstantial evidence of the existence of perhaps another life-form that has a much more advanced civilization. i dont know the answers, but Im testifying based on facts and my perso! nal know ledge of certain events where one can draw up some preliminary assumptions."

"Me and my wife were driving home coming from Tagaytay going to Cabuyao passing to the Tagaytay-Sta.Rosa national road when I saw 7 red bright lights in the sky (time was 8:35pm, very cloudy at the time that no stars can be seen in the sky). T totld her to stop the car to the other side of the road and see the UFOs. When I went out of the car there was a total of 8 UFOs, slowly hovering, coming from the east, and each one slowly ascends to the west, first the 3 UFOs, then 2, then another 2 and last the 1 UFO that we caught on video through my wife'e cellphone."

Magallanes Bridge Manila UFO
"I was on a bus when I saw a metallic spherical object floating in the sky. It looks stationary and was just about at the side of a building. When the bus got to the bridge the object was covered from sight by the building. After we passed the bridge I looked backed again to where I saw it and the metallic object was gone. I'm sure that it was not a plane because its spherical and it was not moving. It also looks like it was very close to the building."

1994 Palawan UFO
"My buddy and I were hanging out on the beach just bumming around. We were lying on the beach looking towards the west over the mountains of Busuanga Islands which is adjacent to the small island where we were. Suddenly out of nowhere a circular object with green lights zoomed out towards the mountains. No sounds or anything were heard. Both of us asked each other if both of us saw what we just saw. Both of us confirmed to each other what just occurred."

October 2007 Paranaque
"We were praying the rosary while I looked up in the sky and saw a strange rectangular object appear from near the Orion's constellation. I called my dad and we both saw it zoom quite fast until it just faded away. It seemed to have lights from each short side (its front & rear). After some minutes, another object from also the same area appeared out of nowhere. It was irregularly shaped this time, almost like a stealth bomber but not black/grey. Also, it seemed to travel at the same speed until it faded away, too."

"sitting by the ocean, just watching the stars, I was with a friend. he alerted my attention to something. when I looked, it was 3 bright lights, in a triangle formation. it came from the main city area, then made a dramatic 90 degree turn and went over the mountains. first we thought shooting star, but they dont change direction, plane? no, there was no sound, a plane with engine problem? no, there was no chrash, birds? no, too fast and too perfectly arranged."

"Im now 37 years old working as a nurse here in Norwich England but still its fresh in my mind. I can still remember my mother asking one of our neighbour to go on our rooftop to catched this yellow glowing object moving very slowly just 50 feet above the ground. Glowing Red Dots
"Dear Mr. Vike, Last night, my brother called me out to see multiple glowing red dots in the sky. Once I got there, I was able to see around ten of them, but according to my brother there were more in the beginning. The dots looked like red stars in really low altitudes. It couldn't have been a plane because it wasn't blinking, it was really bright, and they were traveling really fast without a sound. They were scattered everywhere and flying upward west. One by one they would disappear as they risen. The whole sighting lasted for about 10 minutes. The people who saw it were our two house helps, my 17 year old brother, my 7 year old sister, my step father and me. Yours truly."

THE PHILIPPINES: On 28 June 2002 Eleazar H.Allen, a worker at the Dole plantation in Pomolok, on the west coast of Mindanao Island, saw a brilliant "" object in the sky. Iriga City Cigar-shaped UFO
IRIGA CITY -- Eye witnesses report seeing two strange cigar-shaped objects flying in the sky just above Mount Asog on March 29, 2003. The cigar changed color alternately from yellow to blue then to red. Then after a few minutes of observation from about five kilometers, those two strange cigar-shaped objects disappeared in the clouds at 2:00 AM.

LAS PIÑAS CITY - Two unusual reddish-metallic-glares were observed flying east across partly cloudy skies. Another two, followed by three more - appearing from above the western horizon. This unusual sighting could not be mere airplanes, according to 11 year old Nica Canarias, since two of those were seen heading close to the surface of the moon. Nica, the eldest of the three Canarias’ siblings who were among the early witnesses, immediately commanded her younger brother, Bien Canarias to summon 9-year old Adrian Israel, a close neighbor whom the kids knew well as a UFO experiencer, whose father Antonio (Tony), incidentally had taken a video footage of UFOs in Las Piñas from an earlier encounter dating - September 3, 2000. As the elder Jose was pointing to the object his father Tony took his video camera and taped them. Tony was joined by other neighbors who observed the objects moving erratically, jerking, floating and jumping in different directions between 7:30 till 8:15 PM, Tony was taking video footages of 5 UFOs as each passed by over the horizon at time intervals of approximately 8 minutes per object, following one after the other. 1990s UFO
"UFO forming triangles. That's one of the major reason how I discovered the Watcher Website a decade ago.
I frequently see triangle formation of UFOs here in the Philippines during the 90s. Now I rarely see these formations, even UFOs, it's as if they're done with our country, whatever they were doing here.
And I remember, I witnessed two huge burning objects hurling down from the sky. The first was during daylight facing South. The second was during nighttime, facing North (different events), again during the 90s.
I waited for news that day, the next day, and the following weeks. Not a single news. And to think, I wasn't the only one who saw the event - the public transportation I was at almost bump into another when people started pointing up to the sky.
So weird. But it was quickly forgotten, we do not have any center or organizations here for such things. And I can't find my logbook anymore, which I've searched numerous times.
My most favorite formation I've ever seen btw, is the 3-sided pyramid. They expand, contract, and move clockwise and counter-clockwise. My most "amazing" UFO watching days :p
Second was... 6:00am broad daylight, when two UFOs just crossed the sky, from West to East (we're facing South). Again, not a single news. However, 3 weeks later, Fri reports started popping up that UFO-communication groups were formed..."--laibcoms,Mar 06, 2009 12:16 am

Three UFO 1968 Reports
1968 - A second encounter in the Philippines occurred two hours later when another farmer walking to Baras felt something land behind him. He apparently witnessed the same craft, with the wheels, because his description of the object and its occupants was identical. He ran to the mayor of the town and reported his close encounter.

1968 - A third close encounter of the third kind in the Philippines was made that same day by another farmer, bicycling near the site of the first reported incident at 11:00 a.m. He saw the same "strange car" downhill from his location. As he coasted down toward the object on his bicycle he saw two men; one was outside the object "looking around" and was "very tall" and looked to be a normal Caucasian, the other man was inside the object. Both wore white coveralls and what appeared to be earphones. He stopped 20 yards past the object, looked back, and saw that the man outside the object was watching him. He couldn't decide whether he should go back to speak to him, but while he was thinking this the man got into his vehicle. With a roar, the craft moved up the hill and then ascended silently into the sky.

21 Shiny Circular Metallic UFOs in Calamba City, Laguna
"I am not too sure if I have to share what I saw many years ago. Back in 1994 on my last year of working for a certain company in Calamba City, Laguna Philippines, me and some other ten or more people in our factory saw what could be described as 21 shiny objects 12'o clock high at 230 pm on a hot summer day. The sky was clear and blue and it was me who first observed the phenomena being a "sky observer" myself eversince. Since our area was somewhat close to a parachute target area we all first asumed the "spots" in the sky were humans being trained to jump with chutes. But from 230pm down to several hours up there we all concluded it must not be paratroopers since it was stuck in there approximately about 35,000 to 40,000 feet. I estimated this based on the flight patterns of jet planes passing by and surely they were no jets at all. The 21 "shiny" circular mettalic objects up there where in a V-formation. It also crossed my mind wethere they were stars but I doubted since from 230 till 5 pm they were still there while the world rotates and revolves!Since I got tired looking up i went straight home and tried to shake it out of my head. I turned on the tv on time for the 6 o'clock news and presto! it was on the news at the same time! Some people from Baguio City from the northern Philippines (about8-10 hrs drive) were able to video it and even made zoomed focus. It truly was a craft or should I say an un-identified flying object. Am I surprised or what? No not at all. I have gazed the skies ever since I can remember and have seen countless times up there on starry nights extra-ordinary things that should be there on the sky. Some of them might be sattelites but some Im sure will trully be questionable. For instance dots in the skies that would look like they are lights years apart and would "meet" and seperate and seem to "meet" again like talking ants. It would really arrogant to say that we are the only intelligent planet in this vast universe when mathematically speaking base on the number of planets in our solar system alone for now we know there is one planet that bears life and that is earth. How many solar system are there in our galaxy? How many galaxies are there in the entire universe? Those stars you see at night may or may not be stars but billions and trillions of other galaxies! I wish the Philippine government and its people would not follow suit with the US on sharing experiences and encounters with our alien friends. It is about time to think and have more open minds that we are not trully alone. Gone are the days of monsters and myths. A child now a days can clearly distinguish between an airplane and a saucer without mistaking it with a witch on a broomstick or a tianak in the bush. Little green men, we come in peace."

Silver UFO Above Montalban
"Sometime in the 70's when we were on our way home to Fairview in QC, my Dad, sisters and I saw a silver thing streaking through the sky above the Montalban mountain ranges. I know I wasn't imagining because all of us reacted at the same time. Turns out, our neighbor, who was on his way home too, saw it as well. All of us concluded that it was not an earthly object.My dad,who is a man of numbers, is also convinced that a higher intelligence exists somewhere out there. He thinks that they are the ones who engineered the construction of the pyramids (dimensions are almost accurate to pi) and they took the Incas back home. UFO DAZZLES THOUSANDS IN THE PHILIPPINES
"Thousands of residents in the towns of Milang, Midsayap, Pikit, Alamada and Kidapawan City craned their necks Monday night," October 3, 2005, "to witness what many believe was an unidentified flying object (UFO)."
The sightings took place on Mindanao, the large southern island of the Philippines.
"Vice Mayor Joselito Pinol of Milang personally saw the flying object while on his way home from his farm in Barangay Dugong."

"The vice mayor described the flying object as a vertical line, almost one meter (3 feet, 3 inches) long, looking like the windshield wiper on a four-wheel-drive vehicle."

Hovering Strobe Light
"In the early 1980's I had a close encounter of the 2nd kind, if you will. I was working at a rural airport control tower in the Philippines as an ATC. The airport is sunrise-to-sunset only and closes at night. It was an overcast night when I decided to catch a few winks atop some cabinets by the west-facing plate glass window. As I was about to doze off, I felt a pulsating sensation on the left part of my brain, and when I opened my eyes, what looked like a hovering strobe light high (like the sun at 2 pm)in the overcast sky seemed to be aimed straight at me. No, I did not get mesmerized nor felt that I had been abducted with time missing. Instead I got scared and jumped away from the line of sight. When I got the courage to look at the sky again several seconds later, it was gone. Up until a few years ago my brain could still detect a lingering residual image (like what you see when you look at a bright source of light and then close your eyes) of the "strobe" whenever I go to bed. "Last year, May 2007, I was in Valenzuela, Philippines, when suddenly I heard the sound of an airplane but when I looked out the window, I saw a spacecraft hovering low at only about 100 feet above the ground. Crescent-shaped UFO Sighting in the Philippines
"One sunny noon in our place, my dad runs a jewelry shop, it was like, 3 years ago, we have a schedule of break, it was 15-30 minutes or so, suddenly, oout of nowhere, we saw a very bright white light, the lights were aligned like a crescent-like shaped aircraft, it made no sound, but accelerated to the sky at an alarming rate! it took just 10 seconds to be out of the atmosphere! we were sure about that sighting, we were very shocked that we sat for a while, silenced for like, 20 minutes or so, we just cant believed we saw something thats out of this world!! that was hte day i started believing that we are indeed, not alone... Rotating Bright Light
A reader by the name of jamo888 posted the following comments on Newsweek.com’s forum.
"I had this experience when I was still a kid that until now still fascinates me. I saw a rotating bright small light up in the clear, early morning sky, just right above me ( I cannot guess how far it is from where I am because I was 6 or 7 years old at that time). It is rotating ( because from what I observed it's white bright light is swirling) and moving slowly towards the southern part of the sky, then it suddenly shoots away towards the south leaving a trail of white light and disappear in seconds. That phenomena only last about 8 seconds. I thought that experience, is something that occurs naturally but over the years as I grow up, I am hearing about UFO's and aliens and other related things that is out of this world. Then I realized I may have had a UFO experience. I am from a remote part of the Philippines where advance technologies or some sort was not available at that time. I feel lucky to have that experience because not everyone will ever have that experience in their lifetime. As a Christian I firmly believe in God, but I also believe that God did not only created humans but other human-like beings too, somewhere out there in space. Batangas UFO and Alien Encounter

July 1991 UFO Landing and Sightings
"good day to all! one night when im in vacation in my home town in bohol philippines, i saw 2 two object, playing like chasing each other, they go circling and im amaze they stop like car making sudden brake, at first i thought it was a helecopter but in my mind no helecopter stop like instant, i saw that, seen more or less 30min. in my mind what im my seing it just for me beacause if i told to other they think that im making my own story to stir them, ok thats all for my sigthing. these sighting i told, is my uncle sighting.
one night my uncle urinate outside his house at about 3 or 4am he saw a big disc, flying above his house slowly, he describe me those thing its big circle with many color, and he was shock for a while, after the disk pass his house the big disc circle around 1 or 2 times and land not far from his house. ( ok my uncle house is in the side of the hill, like chocolait hill theres so many in bohol) ok when the disc land to the 2nd hill he saw it was floating, after while there was a ramp like open at the bottom of the disc and he saw a 2 person, coming out from the disc (course he did not know if it is human or what), they saw 2 person big head like egg and its like malnurish like person, the 2 person came out from the disc walk, and collect something, and after that they came inside inside the disc and fly," where they go my uncle dont know any more".
after that seen my uncle, go inside his house and sip a cup of coffe and back to sleep, when he woke up at 6am, he went to the place where the disc was landing, he saw on that area a big circle of burn grass, he thought that that was the site where the disc was land, when he investigate what was that 2 person collected from the ground, he saw plenty of plants that we cal it ( baka baka, a round leaf plant with violet small flower usualy 1 foot tall) some plants there where missing some are removed from the ground. my uncle did not investigate more because he has a job to do, (my uncle is a farmer, he use carabao to cultivate soil) so thats all.
my cousin sighting
one night my cousin climb up the coconut tree, he saw and object very fast passing above the coconut tree, he thougth it was crash to the farm land, he saw the object rolling like wheel, but it full of light, when the object stop rolling to the ground the light of the said object goes off, he was afraid and, he was rushing down from the coconut and go inside his house,(that place i told u is only one place all) when the morning came he did not investigate any more.

To my naked eye it appeared to look very star like - except for the multi-coloured blinking that was happening. At first I brushed it off as a plane, which is what I usually do when I get all excited that I'm seeing a UFO. This one was different than all the other false alarms. February 12, 2007 Batangas UFO
"On the night of February 12th of 2007 just after midnight I and five others which included my mother, Auntie, 1yr old daughter, boyfriend and the boat operator was onboard a small courier boat travelling from ‘Coco Beach’ back to ‘White beach’ where we were all based during our 3 week long holiday. Both of which are tourist beach resorts located in Oriental Mindoro, Batangas, Philippines.
It was a 30 minute journey back and we have just finished a big meal from the Coco beach restaurant so we were all very tired. Everyone around me just closed their eyes and I followed (except for the boat operator of course).
At about 10-15mins after, I opened my eyes to look up at the sky. The sky was clear and I can make out the star formations. Exactly after a minute, I thought I witnessed a Shooting star as it appeared to shoot in one direction and quickly disappeared. For 3 seconds I was thinking to myself I should make a wish.
Then it reappeared moving in different directions at incredible speed. It had different coloured lights. I witnessed a colour formation of white, red, orange and blue. I froze and kept my eyes on it as I was afraid I’d lose sight of it. I couldn’t tell the distance but I know it was very far as it was more or less the same size of an average star.
About 5 minutes of watching, I woke up my boyfriend who was snoozing with his head on his arms at the very front of the boat. I told him to look up at the star that was moving in the dark sky and as he was in a daze he quickly dismissed it and said ‘Nah it’s because the boat is moving up and down’ (as in his own words).
But I remained quiet until it reappeared brighter then proceeded to point again. ‘There it is, over there’, I said. This time he was quiet trying to focus and concentrate. We watched it swerve in zigzag motion and a straight line, speed up and then slow down again.
For a split second I took my eyes of the UFO to look at the sheer concentration on my boyfriends face he let out a ‘Wow’. I looked back at the object and he informed me that it just made a spectacular circular motion…which I just missed. My boyfriend proceeded to record the object on his camcorder but resigned to the fact that it was too hard to focus on the object at such distance especially at the night sky.
Another significant detail was that there was an aeroplane that was coming from the far right moving towards the west and we conversed on comparing the two. I said, ‘there is no way that UFO is a plane. We have nothing that moves that fast’. And so we concluded the same as the two objects aligned directly above each other.
Then we watched the UFO move the same way it was towards the west until it faded. We arrived at the shores in complete awe. It was one of the most memorable moments in my life and will probably never come across a UFO again." Reported by Annabelle Reyes

My first sighting was when i was 13 years old. I saw 2 groups of ufo clusters. The first one on my upper left are five ufos and to its right side are 4 ufos. They moved together in different directions and then finally moving upward and then disappearing. It appeared for about 20minutes at around 10pm. To those who have seen ufo's 1st hand and to the seriously curious, this might be an interesting UFO site for you."

UFO in Zambo?

AN UNIDENTIFIED flying object was sighted, hovering over a quiet village in Zamboanga City in the southern Philippines. The object, which appeared metallic, was spotted in the remote village of Lumbangan, about 10 km east of Zamboanga. A witness claimed to have a photograph of the UFO, hovering above a hill in the village. "I was taking pictures of the people digging for scrap and did not notice the flying object until I browsed the photographs from my laptop computer four days later." "I was aghast by the picture and could not believe it. Of the three frames of photographs taken in the same site, the flying object only appeared on the second frame. It was not on the first frame and gone on the third," he said. He said the object resembled a dark metallic disc with what appeared to be a dome on its top and it emitted neither sounds nor smoke. It was unknown if there were other witnesses, but he said some 70 people were in the garbage dump at the time the UFO hovered behind them. "It was past 10 in the morning, and I am sure I heard no sound of air crafts in the village. The UFO was behind just up there," he said. He said he reported the sighting to an international scientific research organization in the United States, the UFO Evidence, and sent a copy of the photograph. Several UFO sightings were also reported in the past in the Philippines. Filipinos reported seeing UFOs in 1979 in Cebu, Bohol and Negros province in the central Philippines. In April 19, 2000, a UFO was spotted near a beer brewery office in Manila. In June 28, 2002, a UFO was spotted hovering on a remote village in Polomolok town in South Cotabato province in the southern Philippines. Two sightings were again reported in Dumaguete City in central Philippines in December 15 and March 11 on the same year. In January 16, 2004, a disc-shaped flying object was seen over San Jose Del Monte town in Bulacan province outside Manila and many other sightings since 1900.

1980s Metro Manila Sighting
A fan of the UFO Hunters show shares his UFO experience…
"I recently watched an episode of UFO Hunters, wherein William "Bill" Birnes said to the camera that "..if you have seen something that made you stop.." post it here at the board.. --I'm a big fan of UFO Hunters, ever since it premiered here in Asia via the History cable channel, by far the most objective, non-spoof, and straight-forward show about the phenomena, in my opinion (unlike other shows about UFOs that just seem to poke fun at the whole thing, while trying to be serious with their tongues in their cheeks), and of his UFO Magazine, which I always search hard for in various local magazine shops (its not normally circulated here, but I do find some copies).. I initially didn't think much of what he said, I was enjoying the show, and I was about to watch another episode, when by sheer coincidence, I checked my email, and saw an update.. An author/online contact of mine, recently posted on his social site blog that he just saw and photographed his first UFO sighting, that, despite him being a co-author of a well-known book about the existence of evidence (and subsequent government cover-up) of advanced but ancient extraterrestrial civilization in a neighboring planet and the moon--has yet to see an actual UFO here on earth himself, until today. Upon seeing the show, and reading about the author's recent sighting, I began to recall an incident that happened some 20 odd years ago, an incident, that was always at the back of my mind, and never had an answer to.. I was always aware of UFOs through pop culture and stories of sightings, but nothing prepared me to what I saw that night.. It happened in the late 80's, I was in grade school then, and living in the suburbs at the southern end of Metro Manila, Philippines, the house we rented and stayed in at the time was situated in a private village community that was not yet densely populated, so you could pretty much see the horizon because there weren't that many houses built yet, there were many open spaces, and at our street there weren't any streetlights built yet, so at night, you can clearly see the bright stars in the sky.. Our street was situated on higher ground than the other areas in the village, its a stretch of road, and we're in the middle, and we only had one neighbor near us, located far left and across the street.. So there we were, two houses, in the middle of an open block, on high ground, on a dark, slightly windy, but clear night.. We just finished dinner around 8pm, our rented house had a broken water pump, so we had to ration water in a large metal barrel, on that night, the barrel went empty, and we didn't have enough water left to wash the dishes with that night, so we called up our neighbor across the street, and asked them if we could fill a couple of pails with water from them so we could finish up washing the dishes, they said yes, and to just come over and enter their property directly as they have already unlocked their gate, and to just fill our pails with water from the water hose at the front yard and to close the gate after.. So we got our pails ready (me and our maid), and went out the front door of our house and unto the street, I could remember that it was a cool night, a bit windy, I couldn't remember where the moon was located, probably behind us, because the horizon in front of us was clear, but moonlight lit the street enough so we could see where we were going, even though it was dark out.. I looked over at the northwest horizon when something caught my eye.. The sky was littered by faint stars and far-off clouds streaks, but there was something wrong about it, a gigantic dark spot in the middle of the horizon just silently hanged there like a big hole in the sky, eclipsing the faint clouds and stars behind it.. And it slowly moved! I couldn't judge how far it was from us, it slowly rotated and was slowly moving away from us, as it did, I could make out its shape, it was a gigantic rectangular object, silently floating and slowly rotating clockwise, moving across the sky (like a domino tile, only as big as a medium high-rise building), it was semi-shiny, flat black in color, reflecting faint moon and star light, it was smooth-solid like polished metal or marble.. And it was absolutely silent and serenely moved through the sky away from us until it grew smaller and got further, until we couldn't see it anymore.. There we were, me and our maid, standing there, holding our empty pails, not a word between us during the whole thing.. I looked at her, and she was white all-over, and I knew that she saw the same thing I saw just then.. Then with goosebumps all over us, I told her, "Did you see it?!" and she said yes, she did.. "What the hell was that?!", we both saw what we saw, but we couldn't figure out what it was.. It was the most exhilarating 5 minutes of my life, short of like seeing a ghost-- you see it, and you can't believe it.. After the excitement died down, we figured that we should hurry to the neighbors (it was already getting late) and finish with the water and get back home, and tell the family all about it.. As we went walking across the street to our neighbor's house, I noticed something odd, it was darker out than when we went out a couple of minutes ago.. Reaching our neighbor's gate, I tried to push it open.. but it was locked! -- I peered through the fence and I saw that our neighbor's lights were off.. I banged on the neighbor's gate so we could finish what we came out for and hurry back home, after a minute of loud knocking (perhaps they forgot we were coming), the porch lights turned on, and out came our neighbor and seemed irritated, i told her, "Good evening ma'am! here we are, for the water!" And she said, "What? I waited for you, what happened to the two of you? I was already asleep..", I answered back, "It's only 8:30 ma'am!?..", and then she said, "8:30? --its already 10:30PM! now, get inside and get your water, so I can go back to sleep!!" Oh my God! Now, I feel, I'M white all-over, what the hell happened to us?! We lost 2 hours! -- That's why it was darker, I looked over at our house and sure enough, the lights were off too! --everyone was already asleep! We hurried home, and banged on the front door, and my dad opened it and was very angry at us, he thought that we went out strolling around the village instead of fetching the water! We were flabbergasted, he went on with his sermon until we got inside, and we never got to tell them what happened that night.. We told them about it the next day, but they didn't believe us.. To this day, I don't know what we saw, or what happened to us, during those lost 2 hours.. "- Mike

"....I had 1 more experience with missing time, but not UFO related--or at least we didn't see any, this happened in the late 90's.. Me and my ex-girlfriend and 2 other friends were on a road trip to her home town, it was a 4-5 hour drive, we left around 10pm so there won't be any more traffic in the streets so we could get there faster.. It was about 1:15am, said the radio DJ, so did the clock on the car's dash and on my mobile phone, we were traveling on this narrow country road, where there were no lights, just trees and grass, and lots of open spaces on either side.. no houses.. And of all places, one of my friends said he had to pee, I told him to just hold it in, cause we're in the middle of nowhere and the next town is about 15mins away.. He said he couldn't anymore so I had to pull over so he could relieve himself, "oh why the hell not, might as well pee too, its not like we're in a horror movie cliche.." I jokingly said, as I looked back at the backseat of the car, seeing both my ex and her best friend both fast asleep, unaware that we stopped over in the middle of nowhere.. It was a full moon out, so we could pretty much see even it was dark out.. Business finished, and quite relieved, we returned back to our seats, and started back on our journey, listening to the music on the radio.. A couple of minutes passed, and we soon reached the next town.. As we entered the town, as expected, everything was dark at that ungodly hour, everyone was asleep, and the radio DJ came on and said the time.. "It's 2:30am.." -- what?? Checked my mobile phone, it was just 1:40am, and on the dash clock, 1:40am! -- my friend checked his mobile phone, and it too said 1:40am.. did the radio DJ made an error?! We couldn't believe it, we didn't travel that far, to have traveled for almost an hour?! --pee time took only about 5, and we traveled like not more than 20mins.. We decided that the DJ was wrong.. So we moved on and traveled for a couple more minutes, and spotted an open burger stop, so we stopped over for some refreshments and for some snacks.. And asked the burger staff what time it is, and they said it's 2:45am.. Checking our clocks, we had 1:55am.. We really lost 50 minutes! We decided not to tell the girls what happened 'till we arrive at our destination.. And after we did, my ex went to her parent's house and her parents came out and welcomed us, and we greeted them a good morning.. "Have some coffee, you all look tired!" her mom said.. Then my ex turned to me and said.. "I thought we would get here faster? --Its nearly 4am!" My friend and I can only look at each other after that.. I had lost 2 hours and 50 minutes of my life (at least the ones I DO know to have lost), and I don't have any recollection of what happened during those lost hours and minutes.. Did time stop? Did we just froze in place? Or did something happen to us? To this day, we still don't know.." - Mike

"Yes, it occurred to me just now, that there were some sort of pattern and time line to it, like it maybe happening (in my case) every 10 years or so, I might have more than the 2 missing time episode, but those 2 are the only ones I can recall happening.. On 'freezing' on my first encounter, what I can recall is that I was mesmerized at the object in the sky, couldn't take my eyes off it, coz, well, you don't see something like that everyday, I was trying to analyze what I was seeing, trying to guess at what it is, if it was explainable or recognizable at all, and all the while I had a feeling that if I took my eyes off it, it would be gone, it was very surreal.. Fortunately at least I could verify that what happened, really happened, coz I was not alone, if it happened when I was alone, I would have a hard time believing it myself.. Unfortunately I lost touch with the other person who experienced it with me, we really never discussed it after that week, and she left after that year, went back to her province, I don't even remember her name now, but I do barely remember her face.. I didn't really care if people did not believe me, I never told everyone what I saw, just my folks and some close friends since then, some did snicker, some just went onto deep thought, some chose to acknowledge it because they were my friends, but hey, I can't blame them, they didn't see or experience it themselves, it would have been a big paradigm shift on their daily lives if it was ever validated to be true, that's why other people ridicule or marginalize what happen to us, because they are afraid, its too an incredible thing for them to accept.. I also want to know what happened to me, and especially what the hell was that gigantic thing in the sky was, who were 'they' and what transpired in those lost hours.. I'd like to do hypnotic regression also, but I don't know anyone here locally who does that (expertly), if they could handle such a thing, bare in mind, it is a very dangerous procedure, if not done correctly.. If I were to do it, I'd do it with my wife or a very close friend present, and I'd have it videotaped and tape recorded, so I can see it for myself after, and to check if the hypnotist inadvertently planted any false memories (I'm a skeptic even to my own memories :p).. What we should take away from these experiences is wonder, not hate or sadness, whatever happened, happened for a reason, and that's that, we're human, we're resilient, and we should go on, sure it was incredible, but that's only hours off our entire lives, and we have so much more to look forward to everyday.. I'd like to think of us humans as special, even if other beings exist out there, even if they have fantastic powers and technology beyond our wildest dreams, I still believe we are unique, in our bodies and in our very soul.." - Mike

"I recently watched an episode of UFO Hunters, wherein William "Bill" Birnes said to the camera that "..if you have seen something that made you stop.." post it here at the board.. --I'm a big fan of UFO Hunters, ever since it premiered here in Asia via the History cable channel, by far the most objective, non-spoof, and straight-forward show about the phenomena, in my opinion (unlike other shows about UFOs that just seem to poke fun at the whole thing, while trying to be serious with their tongues in their cheeks), and of his UFO Magazine, which I always search hard for in various local magazine shops (its not normally circulated here, but I do find some copies).. I initially didn't think much of what he said, I was enjoying the show, and I was about to watch another episode, when by sheer coincidence, I checked my email, and saw an update.. An author/online contact of mine, recently posted on his social site blog that he just saw and photographed his first UFO sighting, that, despite him being a co-author of a well-known book about the existence of evidence (and subsequent government cover-up) of advanced but ancient extraterrestrial civilization in a neighboring planet and the moon--has yet to see an actual UFO here on earth himself, until today. Upon seeing the show, and reading about the author's recent sighting, I began to recall an incident that happened some 20 odd years ago, an incident, that was always at the back of my mind, and never had an answer to.. I was always aware of UFOs through pop culture and stories of sightings, but nothing prepared me to what I saw that night.. It happened in the late 80's, I was in grade school then, and living in the suburbs at the southern end of Metro Manila, Philippines, the house we rented and stayed in at the time was situated in a private village community that was not yet densely populated, so you could pretty much see the horizon because there weren't that many houses built yet, there were many open spaces, and at our street there weren't any streetlights built yet, so at night, you can clearly see the bright stars in the sky.. Our street was situated on higher ground than the other areas in the village, its a stretch of road, and we're in the middle, and we only had one neighbor near us, located far left and across the street.. So there we were, two houses, in the middle of an open block, on high ground, on a dark, slightly windy, but clear night.. We just finished dinner around 8pm, our rented house had a broken water pump, so we had to ration water in a large metal barrel, on that night, the barrel went empty, and we didn't have enough water left to wash the dishes with that night, so we called up our neighbor across the street, and asked them if we could fill a couple of pails with water from them so we could finish up washing the dishes, they said yes, and to just come over and enter their property directly as they have already unlocked their gate, and to just fill our pails with water from the water hose at the front yard and to close the gate after.. So we got our pails ready (me and our maid), and went out the front door of our house and unto the street, I could remember that it was a cool night, a bit windy, I couldn't remember where the moon was located, probably behind us, because the horizon in front of us was clear, but moonlight lit the street enough so we could see where we were going, even though it was dark out.. I looked over at the northwest horizon when something caught my eye.. The sky was littered by faint stars and far-off clouds streaks, but there was something wrong about it, a gigantic dark spot in the middle of the horizon just silently hanged there like a big hole in the sky, eclipsing the faint clouds and stars behind it.. And it slowly moved! I couldn't judge how far it was from us, it slowly rotated and was slowly moving away from us, as it did, I could make out its shape, it was a gigantic rectangular object, silently floating and slowly rotating clockwise, moving across the sky (like a domino tile, only as big as a medium high-rise building), it was semi-shiny, flat black in color, reflecting faint moon and star light, it was smooth-solid like polished metal or marble.. And it was absolutely silent and serenely moved through the sky away from us until it grew smaller and got further, until we couldn't see it anymore.. There we were, me and our maid, standing there, holding our empty pails, not a word between us during the whole thing.. I looked at her, and she was white all-over, and I knew that she saw the same thing I saw just then.. Then with goosebumps all over us, I told her, "Did you see it?!" and she said yes, she did.. "What the hell was that?!", we both saw what we saw, but we couldn't figure out what it was.. It was the most exhilarating 5 minutes of my life, short of like seeing a ghost-- you see it, and you can't believe it.. A farmer in the Philippines reported seeing 6 men, whom he thought were Americans, get out of objects “shaped like saucers”. The “Americans” were wearing shiny, gray rubberized plastic white suits with brown belts and black gloves and boots.

A UFO investigator by the name of EDWIN V. GATIA, M.Sc., who posted a comment on 1/21/2007 1:12:58 AM at http://www.ufoevidence.org/ and claimed to have investigated this case, wrote the following:
Philippine UFO Case
"I had thoroughly investigated (and documented) the "Landing Case" involving witness Mr. Mamerto Demetillo, in the village of Matab-ang, City of Talisay, in the Province of Negros Occidental in the Philippines.
At the time, I was a Field Investigator for the Center for UFO Studies (now the J. Allen Hynek Center for UFO Studies) and this case was duly submitted to CUFOS in the early part of 1980. Some clarifications as to the Report (in this site):
1. There were only three (3) entities observed; NOT six (6)...
2. The "objects" landed almost all AT THE SAME TIME...
3. The "entities" were "tall" (witness thought they were "Russians");
4. The objects were GREATER than 2 feet in diameter... "
