"Has anyone seen any unusual objects in the skys around Cebu. On my first visit to Cebu my wife and I saw a zig zagging ball of light pulse its way accross the night sky. It stopped and dropped a small ball of light which stopped above a small fishing village and was visible for 30 minutes before shooting skywards. The next day we mentioned this to family and locals and was told this was not uncommon and had been seen by others before. Really blew us away."---posted by Tobster, 09 October 2010 - 06:11 PM
"I saw some lights between cebu and bohol too high to be a boat and too low to be a heli/plane. Made no noise. Had blue pulsing dots (quickly) in a zig zag pattern as you mentioned. It went like /\/\/\/\/\/\/\/ across the horizon. The high point and the low point of each zig and zag is where the light would pulse. Saw it for 3-4 minutes until it was out of view. Was coming from the south going inbetween cebu and bohol to the north. It traveled my viewing distance (clear night probably a good 20mile visibility (i could see lights in bohol which is about 25miles away from cebu). I considered it could be a boat closer and quieter than I realized (it was night) however the speed at which it went from south to north was too great to be a boat.
